It was a dark and stormy night... actually, no, it probably wasn't (because the suburbs of Maryland actually have gorgeous weather like, 80% of the time). But it WAS most likely a pleasant afternoon, and 8-year-old me was most likely either planted in front of the TV watching cartoons or snuggled up on our basement couch, co-piloting a pretty intense boss fight on some PS1 game with my sister. She and I took the liberty of doing all the character voices ourselves, and while I didn't know it at the time, all those impromptu basement performances and questionable Spongebob impressions were laying the brickwork for what would later become my dream career.

Because of this, I grew up with a deep passion for story-telling – always writing or daydreaming or playing make-believe on the playground during recess. It's a passion that drove me into my high school's drama club, and then, a few years later, into the musical theatre program at Catholic University in Washington, DC. Shortly after that, with 10+ years of vocal/acting training under my belt (and a fancy-schmancy degree to prove it, ooh), I did what any aspiring, if not slightly overzealous actor would do: move to Los Angeles. 

Now, I get to lend my voice to some of the very same iconic cartoon channels and video game companies I used to pretend to be in when I was a kid – and I still love it just as much as I did back then! Except now my skills are sharper, my heart is wiser, and my teeny-tiny basement-sized imagination has exploded into a world of endless possibility.
